DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Another round of widespread showers and storms can be expected to wrap up the work week. Isolated flash flooding will again be possible, especially in showers and storms that are slow-moving and train over the same areas for an extended period of time. Abundant cloud cover along with our high chance for rain will help to keep our high temperatures cool in the mid to upper 80s.
Saturday and Sunday will be much drier days filled with more sunshine! We’ll still have a 40% chance for showers and storms both afternoons, but I think most folks will take that over the cloudy and across-the- board rainy days we saw earlier this week. Highs will be mostly in the upper 80s, but a few low 90s are possible.
Monday will have a 50/50 chance for PM showers and storms. We’ll begin the morning in the mid 70s and again make it up to the upper 80s and low 90s.
Tuesday and Wednesday will also feature 50% chances for showers and storms. Highs will be solidly in the low 90s both days.
Rain chances will go up a tad on Thursday to about 60%. Temperatures won’t change all that much from previous days, as we can once again expect to warm up from the mid 70s to around the 90 degree mark.
