DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — After a very cool day, we’ll be chilly tonight as temperatures bottom out right around 30 degrees with clear skies.

Tuesday will be mainly sunny with highs in the middle and upper 50s.

Wednesday will be our big warm up for the week! We’ll start the day in the middle 30s and climb all the way into the middle and upper 60s. Partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies will block out most of the sunshine, but winds from the ESE will warm us up significantly.

Thursday will also be on the warm side with morning lows in the low 50s and highs in the low and middle 60s, but we’ll likely see some rain return to the Tri-State. models have some disagreement about how much rain we can expect Thursday and Friday, so we’ll keep hammering out those details in the coming days.

Friday also has a medium chance for rain throughout the day. Temperatures could be much cooler depending on the location of the stationary boundary.

Saturday is very much up for debate right now. One model has us completely dry while another says we can expect a washout. Either way, both models say we should expect lows in the middle 30s and highs in the upper 40s.

Sunday and Monday should be dry with a mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures will be cold from start to finish both days. There is a possibility that we could see some 20s, but I’ll hold off on putting those in the forecast for now.
