DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The severe storms are done in the Wiregrass area tonight. Light to moderate rain will continue this evening.

Wednesday will have scattered showers and storms, some of which could be severe. Tornadoes do not look to be a big threat tomorrow. Hail up to quarter-sized and damaging winds of 60 mph will be medium-low risk. Highs will be in the middle 80s. A cold front should move through Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

Thursday could start off with a few light showers. Clouds will start clearing out later in the day, and temperatures will be in the middle 70s during the afternoon.

Friday will be significantly cooler as morning lows drop into the 40s and afternoon highs remain in the middle to upper 60s.

Saturday will start off in the low 40s and only move into the middle 60s. We’ll have lots of sunshine.

Sunday will also be very sunny, but it will start off fairly chilly! We expect morning lows to struggle to stay in the low 40s. Some place will likely drop into the upper 30s. High temperatures will climb much higher than Saturday as we peak in the middle 70s.

Monday will still be a bit cool in the morning with lows in the middle and upper 40s, but afternoon highs will break into the low 80s.

Tuesday has a 20% chance for some showers. Lows will start in the 50s, and high will peak in the middle 80s.
