DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Another round of afternoon/evening showers and storms can be expected today. Rain chances will be a bit higher than yesterday at around 80%, so a lot of folks that didn’t get rain yesterday will more than likely get some today. We’ll warm up into the low 90s before rain and storms cool us off. If you have any plans to go out and about, make sure to take a rain jacket or umbrella along, because you’re definitely going to need it!

We’ll see more of the same tomorrow and Friday as rain chances stay high around 70%. Showers and storms will likely occur during the PM hours both days. Highs will be in the upper 80s to low 90s, while lows stay seasonably mild in the 70s.

Rain chances will remain elevated for the Fourth of July weekend as well, with Saturday and Sunday each featuring a 60% chance for showers and storms. Make sure to have a backup plan to bring any outdoor activities indoors if needed! We’ll top out in the upper 80s both afternoons.
