DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Showers are tapering off right now, but the dense cloud cover will stick around much of tonight. Temperatures will once again sit in the low to mid 70s.

Friday will have widely scattered showers and storms with our 80% chance for rain. Temperatures will peak in the middle and upper 80s and then drop quickly to the 70s as the rain passes through.

Saturday and Sunday will have a 50-60% chance for scattered storms. Models have started trending a little drier this weekend, but we’ll hold off on dropping the rain chances any lower until we get to see a another couple model runs. Temperatures will be around 90 degrees during the afternoon hours.

Monday and Tuesday both have a 50/50 shot at showers and storms. Just like most of the other days, the highest chance for rain is during the afternoon and early evening hours. Temperatures should peak in the low 90s before the rain begins.

Wednesday and Thursday have a 40% and 30% chance for rain respectively. Temperatures will be in the low to middle 90s.
