DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Tonight will be much drier than what we experienced earlier today. Lows will stay in the upper 60s to low 70s.
Tuesday will have a couple opportunities for scattered showers and a few storms. There is a marginal risk for a damaging wind gust or two. Temperatures will peak in the middle to upper 80s during the afternoon hours as we get some extra peeks of sunshine.
Wednesday has a 60% chance for showers with temperatures topping out in the middle to upper 80s again.
Thursday will bring us a couple rounds of showers/storms. The dense cloud cover during the day will prevent our temperatures from climbing above the low 80s. A front will move through Thursday late in the evening. Showers and storms will be numerous at this time.
Friday – Sunday will all be mainly if not entirely dry. Temperatures will struggle to hit the middle 80s on Friday, be well into the middle 80 on Saturday, and most folks will top out in the upper 80s on Sunday.
Memorial Day will be partly sunny with a 20% chance for rain. Afternoon highs should be around 90 degrees.
Overall, Memorial Day weekend should be perfect for grilling and spending lots of time outdoors!
