DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Today will be very warm again as partly sunny skies prevail. Highs will reach the middle and upper 70s in most locations. With a little bit of moisture in place, an isolated shower or two cannot be ruled out during the afternoon hours.

We’ll begin Wednesday with another round of dense fog and temperatures in the low 60s. Like today, we’ll see any fog that develops dissipate by mid-morning and give way to a mix of sun and clouds. Afternoon highs will be warmer in the upper 70s.

Our best chance to break or tie a record high temperature will be on Thursday when the majority of Tri-State residents make it up to near the 80-degree mark. For reference, the current record high here in Dothan is 79. Outside of the very warm temperatures, we’ll be entirely dry and partly cloudy.

A cold front will push through the region on Friday and bring a 20% chance for showers back to the region. We’ll rise into the middle and upper 70s from the upper 50s.

We’ll cool down a bit post-front on Saturday, but we’ll still be above average for this time of year as highs make it up to the low 70s. Expect skies to be mainly sunny.

Sunday brings us a 30% chance for showers and a couple storms. Temperatures will once again peak around 70 degrees after starting the morning in the low 50s.

Monday has a low-end chance for rain and will have temperatures closer to seasonable norms.
