DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — We’ve got a clear and cool night ahead of us as lows drop to the low 40s. Upper 30s will be possible, but there won’t be any frost in the Wiregrass.
Saturday will only climb to the middle 60s. Abundant sunshine will make for a beautiful day. Just like Friday, winds are expected to be whipping all day long with gusts over 30 mph possible.
Sunday will also be very sunny with a bit of a chilly start. Morning lows will over around 40 degrees once again. Afternoon highs will be in the middle 70s. The winds will be much, much calmer.
Monday is expected to take us back to the 80s with partly sunny skies. An isolated shower is possible.
Tuesday has a 20% chance for rain with morning lows in the upper 50s and highs in the middle 80s.
Wednesday also has a very low-end chance for rain, even warmer morning lows around 60 degrees, and afternoon highs in the middle 80s.
Thursday’s forecast has been changing up quite a bit from one model run to the next, but we’ll leave in a 40% chance for showers. Highs will be a little cooler than the preceding days, but we still expect to make it to the upper 70s.
Friday also could have a little wet weather activity, but there is still a lot of variability in the model data. Morning lows will likely start around 60 degrees, and afternoon highs should still make it to the upper 70s.
