DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Tonight will be much cooler than what we have experienced recently as low temperatures bottom out around 40 degrees with some folks possibly dropping into the 30s.

Friday will be beautiful with loads of sunshine, but temperatures will only warm to the upper 50s with a few low 60s possible.

Saturday has the chance for rain, but it looks like a low chance as of right now. Most of the rain will be in the Panhandle, but we’ll put in a 10-20% chance for light rain within our region. Temperatures will start just above or just below 40 degrees in the morning and end up in the upper 50s under mostly cloudy skies in the afternoon.

Sunday and Monday both start around the freezing mark and end up in the middle 50s under mostly to partly sunny skies.

Tuesday has a 30% chance for light rain with morning lows in the low 40s and afternoon highs in the middle 50s.

Wednesday should be dry, but the cool air just refuses to budge. Morning lows will be in the low 40s and afternoon highs will be in the upper 50s.

Thursday has a very low-end chance for showers during the evening and overnight hours. Just like previous days, morning temps will be around 40 degrees while afternoon highs peak in the middle to upper 50s.
