DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Showers and storms have come to an end. Temperatures will drop into the low 70s as the clouds start to clear out.
Thursday and Friday both have an increased chance for rain as moisture from the Gulf of Mexico is driven into our area. Highs will be kept to the upper 80s again with an 80% chance for rain on Thursday and a 70% chance on Friday. A cold front will approach on Friday afternoon/evening and either stall out or pass through Friday night. This will be why our rain chance are high on Friday and much lower this weekend.
In case the cold front hasn’t entirely passed through the Tri-State on Saturday, we’ll leave in a 40% chance for showers and storms. Highs will be around 90 degrees.
Sunday has a chance to start in the upper 60s! We’ll also only have a 20% chance for showers because the front will likely be located just south of our area. Despite being on the backside of a cold front, we won’t really be any cooler. Our high temperatures will probably peak in the low 90s because of the partly sunny skies.
Monday – Wednesday all have a 10-20% chance for a couple of showers. Highs will be in the low 90s each day with mostly to partly sunny skies. Lows will start in the upper 60s and low 70s.
