DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Tonight will be dry with lows in the middle 70s and mainly clear skies.

Tuesday starts our warming trend as highs top out in the middle and upper 90s. We’ll have mostly sunny skies and a chance for an isolated shower or storm.

Wednesday takes some of us up and over the dreaded 100 degree threshold! Much of the country will be blazing with no relief in sight. The good news is that our dew points will be in the 60s and low 70s, so heat indices won’t be significantly higher than the actual temperatures.

Thursday and Friday will also likely be close to the century mark with some of us surpassing it both days. Expect mostly to partly sunny skies with a low-end rain chance both days.

Saturday-Monday will be in the middle or upper 90s with a 30-40% chance for showers/storms each day.
