DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — We can expect to rise into the low 70s for the first time in a while during the afternoon hours today. Sunshine will dominate area-wide once again!

We’ll start off Saturday a little milder in the low 40s. From there, we’ll climb into the mid to upper 70s under mostly sunny skies.

Sunday will be even warmer as most locations top out close to the 80-degree mark. Sunshine and a few clouds will again fill the skies.

We’ll begin Monday right around 50 degrees and end up in the low 80s as mainly sunny skies prevail once more.

Tuesday sees the return of an isolated shower chance to the forecast ahead of our next front, which will be located across the Mid-South at this point in time. Expect to top out in the low 80s again after kicking off the morning in the mid 50s.

Wednesday will have a 30% chance for showers and a few storms as the aforementioned front pushes through the region. We’ll take another trip to the low 80s from the mid 50s.

We’ll dry out and see sunny skies return on Thursday behind the front. Highs will cool down a bit to around 80.
