DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A little more rain is possible tonight, but most of us will stay dry. Temperatures will stay around 70 degrees from now until tomorrow morning.

Thursday will bring us a couple rounds of showers/storms. Storms (some strong to severe) could start as early as mid-morning. The dense cloud cover during the day will prevent our temperatures from climbing above the low 80s. Another round of storms is likely Thursday evening as a front moves across Alabama. There is a Marginal Risk for severe weather in the form of damaging winds and possibly a brief, weak tornado. Minor flooding is also possible.

Friday – Sunday will all be mainly if not entirely dry. Temperatures will struggle top out in the middle 80s on Friday and Saturday, and most folks will make it to the upper 80s on Sunday. Morning lows will be in the low to middle 60s all three days.

Memorial Day will be partly sunny with an isolated shower/storm possible. Afternoon highs should be around 90 degrees.

Overall, Memorial Day weekend and much of Memorial Day itself should be perfect for grilling and spending lots of time outdoors!

Tuesday and Wednesday bring us a 30% chance for showers and storms both days. Temperatures will hover in the upper 80s.
