DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Tonight will be very warm and very tame. An isolated shower won’t be ruled out in the pre-dawn hours, but most of us should be dry until sunrise tomorrow. Temperatures will hover in the middle and upper 60s.

Saturday may start off with showers and storms. We’ll drop the chance to 50-70% because models have been trending toward a broken line of showers/storms IF anything even develops. IF storms do develop, there is a low-end chance that a damaging wind gust or two will be possible. We won’t rule out rotation within these storms, but a tornado is highly unlikely. Temperatures will easily peak in the low to middle 80s with partly sunny skies.

Sunday also has a 50/50 shot at showers and storms, and a couple could be strong to potentially severe. A damaging wind gust and hail are possible. Temperatures start in the middle 60s and climb to the low 80s.

Monday start off warm again and has another 50-60% chance for showers and storms. Highs will be in the upper 70s.

Tuesday could be a much cooler day depending on how much rain we get. For now, expect morning lows in the low to middle 60s, highs in the low to middle 70s, and a 60% chance for showers and a few storms before a cold front moves in.

Wednesday will be cooler with lows around 50 degrees and highs around 70. We’ll be dry with mostly sunny skies.

Thursday will start in the low 50s and climb to the middle 70s with a 10% chance for a light shower.

Friday will be warm all over again with lows around 60 degrees and highs in the low 80s. We’ll have another 10% chance for a shower.
