DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Tonight will be a chilly one with lows around freezing once again! Frost will be a little more likely this time around, so give yourself a little more time to scrape it off the windshield in the morning if you’re heading out early.

Wednesday climbs to the upper 50s. We’ll have a mix of sun and clouds throughout the day.

Thursday will be another chilly start in the middle 30s, but we should warm up nicely to the low 60s.

Friday is expected to be fairly seasonable with upper 30s to start the day and afternoon temperatures in the low 60s.

Saturday should be mainly dry until we get to the late evening hours. That’s when showers and maybe some storms will likely move into our area. We’ll give it a 40% chance for rain during the day, but that chance will be increase overnight into early Sunday morning. We’ll monitor the situation for severe weather potential, but we don’t have all the fine details just yet.

Sunday could start off warm with some wet weather activity, but we should dry out as we go throughout the day. Clouds will stick around and keep our temperatures in the low 50s and upper 40s. It’s currently unknown how far south the wintry weather will actually be seen, but it’s something that we will be watching closely.

Monday and Tuesday will both be chilly with morning lows in the middle and low 30s and afternoon highs in the middle 50s.
