DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Today will feature another round of near normal temps as most locations make it up to the low and mid 70s. Some light rain will be possible later in the day as a weak shortwave pushes through the region.

Friday will have a 60-70% chance for rain and some storms as our next front moves in. A few storms could be briefly strong with gusty winds, but beyond that we’re not expecting any major severe weather. We’ll start the day in the 60s and end up in the mid 70s once again.

Saturday will begin much cooler in the 40s before we warm up to the low and possibly mid 70s. Mostly sunny skies will prevail.

Sunday will have a 60% chance for showers and storms as another front pushes in later in the day and into the overnight hours. Morning lows will be in the low 50s or potentially the upper 40s and afternoon highs will be in the low to middle 70s.

Monday might start off with a shower or two. Temperatures start in the upper 50s or at 60 degrees, climb to the upper 60s near 70, and be partly cloudy behind the front.

Tuesday and Wednesday should bring us a much cooler mornings in the 30s and 40s and afternoon highs only in the low 60s.
