DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A lingering shower or storm will remain possible this evening, but we’ll dry out quickly after that once we lose the heating of the day. Partly cloudy skies will prevail after that as we only drop into the upper 60s to near 70.

Tuesday will be slightly cooler than today with highs in the upper 80s. We’ll start off the day dry, but just like we saw today, that will change with the development of scattered showers and storms during the PM hours. These showers and storms will cover a good majority of the area as rain chances stay high in the 50-60% range area-wide.

We’ll stay wet Wednesday and Thursday too as we keep rain chances between 50-60%. Both days will have highs in the mid and upper 80s and lows in the upper 60s.

Friday and Saturday won’t be as rainy, but we’ll still have a 30% chance for a few afternoon showers and storms. We’ll end the work week and kick off the weekend making it up to the mid 80s again from the upper 60s.

Sunday will likely end up being our driest day this week with mainly sunny skies and only a 20% chance for a few showers. We’ll see highs cool down further into the low 80s; lows will follow suit as we could start the day in the upper 50s!

Rain chances will go back up to 30% on Monday. We’ll stay cool as we begin the day in the low 60s and top out in the low 80s once more.
