DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — More light rain for the next few hours, but showers will come to an end tonight. Temperatures will drop into the middle 40s.

Monday could start off with a light mist. Otherwise, the clouds will start clearing later in the day. Temperatures will peak in the middle 50s.

Tuesday is mainly dry and partly sunny. Morning temperatures will be a bit chilly with most of us down in the low and middle 30s. Afternoon highs will climb to the middle and upper 50s. A couple showers will be possible in the evening hours. Storms will move in Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Some of these will likely be strong to severe, with tornadoes and damaging winds possible.

Wednesday starts off with showers and storms. Once we get past 9 or 10 AM, rain should be moving out of the area. Skies will clear some later in the day, and temperatures will with be in the 60s much of the day.

Thursday starts off around 40 degrees, highs climb to the middle 50s. Skies will be mostly to partly cloudy.

Friday and Saturday will be in the low 30s to start and in the 50s for highs. Both will be dry with mostly to partly sunny skies.

Sunday could have some showers with temperature back in the middle 60s.
