DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Happy Thanksgiving!! Tonight will be dry until the wee morning hours with showers starting their initial push into our area. Temperatures will only drop to the low or middle 60s.

Friday will not be the best weather for Black Friday shopping. Expect off and on scattered showers and storms from sunrise to nearly sunset. Everyone will dry out around or after 5 or 6 PM. Temperatures will be in the low to middle 60s for those who get more consistent rainfall throughout the day. Folks in the Panhandle will likely top out in the low to middle 70s.

Saturday should be a dry day here in the Tri-State until the late afternoon or evening hours. The heaviest and more consistent/widespread rain will hold off until the overnight hours. Temperatures will be in the low and middle 60s to start the day and end up around 70 degrees before the rain moves in.

Sunday will start off with some lingering showers, but we should all be dry starting around the mid-morning hours. Temperatures will climb back to roughly the 70 degree mark as clouds move out of the area.

Monday should be bright and sunny with seasonable temperatures from start to finish. We’ll start in the middle 40s and peak in the upper 60s.

Tuesday keeps the sunny skies around with morning lows in the middle to upper 40s and afternoon highs in the low 70s.

Wednesday will be another very warm one with highs in the middle 70s. Showers and storms will be possible before a line moves in overnight. Some of these storms could be strong to severe.

Thursday clears us out and cools us off with sunny skies returning behind the front. Morning lows will start in the middle 40s, and afternoon highs will peak in the low 60s.
