DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Off-and-on showers and storms will persist this evening and overnight. Temperatures will be in the middle 60s.

Thursday could start of with a round of showers and storms, but that line should move through fairly quickly with just about everyone drying out by mid-morning. A cold front will pass through around noon, so highs will peak in the low to middle 80s as clouds clear out.

Friday will start off in the low to middle 50s with sunny skies leading to temperatures around 80 degrees in the afternoon.

Saturday likely bring us a shift in wind (from northwesterly to southerly), so lows in the low to middle 50s should easily turn into highs in the middle 80s. Mainly sunny skies will prevail.

Sunday is looking pretty good and pretty warm with temperatures peaking in the middle and upper 80s under partly sunny skies.

Monday brings us another cold front and another chance for rain. We’ll keep that chance at 30-40% for now, but it could be on the rise in the coming days. Highs will be held to the low 80s under mostly cloudy skies.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be significantly cooler with highs only in the low 70s and morning lows dropping to the middle 40s on Wednesday. Tuesday will be partly sunny while Wednesday brings sunny skies back to the region.
