DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Most (if not all) of these last few showers will wrap up around 8 PM tonight. With some lingering clouds and only a light wind expected tonight, smoke will likely linger throughout your fireworks shows. However, we should be dry across much of the Wiregrass once we get past 8 PM!
Tuesday has another 50/50 shot at showers and storms. There is a lot of moisture in the atmosphere, so storms could produce quite a bit of rain in a short period of time. Temperatures will peak in the low to middle 90s before the rain becomes more widespread.
Wednesday-Friday all have a 20-30% chance for showers/storms with mostly to partly sunny skies. Temperatures will top out in the middle 90s.
This weekend looks like a bit of a washout. Rain chances will be at 60-70% both Saturday and Sunday. Again, plentiful moisture in the atmosphere could lead to very heavy rainfall and possibly localized flash flooding. Temperatures will be in the upper 80s and low 90s.
We’ll start off next week with another 50/50 shot at showers and storms with temperatures in the low 90s.
