DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — We should be done with any shower activity for the rest of the night. Expect mostly clear skies to prevail as we fall into the low 70s.
Tomorrow will be another mainly dry day with only a 20% chance for an afternoon shower. Much like today, highs will be on the seasonable side as most locations make it up to around the 90 degree mark.
Rain chances will increase to 40% on Monday as a trough drops down into the Southeast. Scattered showers and storms will be most likely during the peak heating of the day in the afternoon. We’ll reach 90 degrees once again before rain and storms arrive and cool us off a bit.
Tuesday will also have a 40% chance for PM showers and storms. We’ll take another trip up to the low 90s after starting off the morning in the mid 70s.
Rain chances will go up a tad to 50% for Wednesday and Thursday. Expect near normal high temperatures in the low 90s both days.
Friday will likely be our wettest day this week with a 60% chance for showers and storms. With more clouds and a higher coverage of rain anticipated, most locations should only top out in the upper 80s.
Rain chances will fall back to 40% on Saturday. With more sunshine and dry time early in the day, we’ll easily return to the 90s after a one-day absence to kick off next weekend.
