DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Today will be much cooler than yesterday as highs only reach the upper 50s in most locations. Partly sunny skies will prevail.

We’ll begin Thursday in the upper 30s and low 40s and end up in the low 50s during the afternoon hours under a mix of sun and clouds. An isolated shower will be possible with just a bit of moisture in place.

Friday has the potential to start out with frost and potentially a freeze in some spots with temperatures in the low 30s. For this reason, I would recommend bringing in your pets and any plants you may have outdoors before heading off to bed Thursday night! We’ll rise into the mid 50s for highs with more sunshine expected compared to past days.

Another front will make its way through the region on Saturday. Cloud cover will increase once again ahead of the frontal boundary, and there will be a 20% chance for a few showers during the PM hours. We’ll take another trip into the mid 50s after waking up in the mid 30s.

A reinforced shot of cool air will stream in behind this front, keeping our high temperatures below average on Sunday in the mid 50s. A mix of sun and clouds will fill the skies.

Expect to be similarly cold and partly cloudy on Monday. We’ll ascend to the mid and upper 50s from the mid 30s.

We’ll finally start to warm up on Tuesday as highs climb back into the low 60s. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies can be anticipated.
