WIREGRASS, Ala (WDHN) — Take a look at the severe weather threat moving into the Wiregrass area Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
Until 6:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, the severe weather threat will be in the western part of the Wiregrass, with Covington county at a slight risk for severe weather.
Starting at 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, the threat will move into the eastern portion of the state, with Houston, County, Geneva, Dale, Coffee, and Early counties at a slight risk for severe weather.
According to Coffee County EMA Director Grant Lyons, Coffee County remains a slight risk, 2 out of 5, for severe weather later tonight and into early Wednesday morning.
A wind advisory is also in effect for Coffee County from 12:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Wednesday.
