DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Wet weather will continue today, as we can expect another round of widespread showers and storms, mainly from the mid-morning through the mid to late afternoon. Much like the last couple days, showers and storms will be slow-moving in nature, so isolated instances of flash flooding will be possible. We’ll only make it up to the mid 80s for highs as clouds and rain keep us cool for much of the day.

Thursday will feature similar rain chances to today’s, around 70-80%. Once again, abundant cloud cover, in combination with widespread showers and storms, will help keep our highs pinned down in the mid 80s.

We’ll round out the work week with another 70% chance of rain on Friday. We’ll begin the morning in the mid 70s and climb into the mid and upper 80s.

The weekend should be a bit drier with a little bit more in the way of sunshine! Rain chances will be around 50% for both Saturday and Sunday. Highs will creep up a couple degrees to just shy of the 90 degree mark.

Monday will have another 50% chance of rain and similar temperatures to the weekend, with highs in the upper 80s and lows in the 70s.

Rain chances will go up a bit on Tuesday to around 60%. We’ll again take a trip into the upper 80s for highs from the low 70s.
