DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Temperatures will fall into the 50s tonight with a few showers, but nothing super heavy. Clouds will be stubborn on Monday with just some peeks of clouds and highs in the mid 60s. watch out a few a few sprinkles of rain. Similar weather on Tuesday with lows once again in the mid 50s and highs in the mid 60s and a mostly cloudy sky. Wednesday will start out with just clouds and some scattered showers ahead of a cold front. Temperatures will also jump to near 70. Once the cold front gets closer downpours and storms will start to move through, likely late in the day and overnight. Some storms will be strong or even severe with damaging wind gusts being the main threat. The storms will exit early Thursday with mild temperatures near 60 to start and highs in the mid 60s but quickly dropping in the early afternoon behind the front. The sun will come back out on Thursday afternoon behind the front. Friday morning will drop to near 40 with highs only in the mid 50s but it will be nice and bright. Saturday will also be chilly with similar temperatures and again on Sunday, however the end of the weekend will be a little gloomier with more clouds and a slight chance for rain.
