DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Expect showers and a few storms tonight, but severe weather is unlikely. A damaging wind gust or even a brief, weak tornado are possible, but it is highly unlikely. Temperatures will be very high much of the night with most of us in the 60s until roughly sunrise.

Friday will likely start off with a light, lingering showers, but they will be weak. Temperatures as you walk out the door will be in the middle 50s and may continue dropping into the low 50s around noon before a quick climb to the upper 50s if the sunshine returns in the afternoon. Winds will be breezy out of the NW.

Saturday will be quite beautiful, but it starts off cold! Morning lows will be around freezing while afternoon highs climb to the middle and upper 50s.

Sunday takes morning temperatures in the upper 30s and turns them into afternoon highs in the middle and upper 60s under partly sunny skies.

Monday will be very nice and much warmer. We’ll start in the middle 40s and climb to the middle 70s with partly sunny skies.

Tuesday and Wednesday continue the warming trend morning lows around or in the 60s and afternoon highs in the low 80s!! There’s also a 10% chance for a couple of small showers both days.

Thursday could take us to new heights with highs temperatures potentially peaking in the middle 80s! We’ll be mostly cloudy with a 20% chance for rain.
