DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Mostly clear skies will prevail tonight as we fall into the mid 60s area-wide.

Another seasonably warm and mostly sunny day can be expected to close out Memorial Day weekend. However, we won’t be entirely dry like today; there will be a chance for a shower or two during the afternoon hours as moisture starts to filter back in thanks to a shift in our winds to the south. Overall, we’re looking at about a 20% chance of rain. We’ll be a couple degrees warmer than today as most locations top out in the upper 80s for highs.

MEMORIAL DAY FORECAST: Another round of mostly sunny skies and a chance for an isolated sprinkle or two will be on tap. We’ll start off the morning in the mid 60s and climb into the low 90s, so make sure to dress in short sleeves and have plenty of water if you’re planning on being outdoors!

Tuesday will feature a mix of sun and clouds and a 20% chance for afternoon showers. We’ll begin the day slightly milder in the mid to upper 60s and warm up into the low 90s once again.

Rain chances will drop slightly on Wednesday to around 10%. We’ll take another trip from the upper 60s into the low 90s for highs.

Rain chances will go back up to 20% and stay there for Thursday through next Saturday. Temperatures will remain around average for this time of year, with all three days featuring highs in the low 90s and lows in the upper 60s to low 70s.
