DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Tonight will be another cool one as most locations fall into the upper 50s. Partly cloudy skies can be expected.

We’ll begin a new work week tomorrow with another round of abundant sunshine. With mid 80s on tap once again for high temperatures, it’ll be another great day to get outdoors!

Tuesday will feature more of the same: lots of sunshine and seasonably warm temperatures. We’ll climb from the upper 50s in the morning to the mid 80s once more for afternoon highs.

Wednesday and Thursday will follow in a similar fashion as the two previous days, but with slightly warmer temperatures. Expect upper 50s/low 60s to kick off both mornings followed by a trek up to the mid to upper 80s.

Our extended run of dry weather will finally come to an end on Friday as a low pressure system out in the Atlantic starts to move inland over southeast GA/northeast FL. As it does so, we’ll see moisture push westward towards our area. This will translate to clouds building back in throughout the day and the return of low-end (20%) rain chances to the forecast. Temperatures will remain relatively similar to days past as we again rise from the low 60s to the mid 80s for highs.

Look for more of the same on Saturday (partly cloudy skies and a 20% chance for showers) as the aforementioned low continues to filter moisture in from the east. We’ll take another trip from the low 60s up to the mid 80s for afternoon highs.

Rain chances will go up to 30% on Sunday as the low pushes a little further west. After beginning the morning very mild in the mid 60s, we’ll once again top out in the mid 80s for highs.
