DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Today will feature another round of sunshine and a few high clouds. We’ll feel more like early fall compared to the last couple days thanks to cooler and drier air moving in behind our cold front from yesterday as high temperatures top out in the middle and upper 80s.

We’ll start out Saturday a little chilly in the low 60s. From there, we’ll rise into the upper 80s by the afternoon as mainly sunny skies prevail once again.

Sunday will have a 30% chance for showers during the PM hours as another cold front makes its way in from the northwest. Expect high temperatures to climb back up into the low 90s.

This second front will push through during the morning hours on Monday. Partly cloudy skies will prevail to kick off a new work week as most locations top out near the 90-degree mark during the afternoon hours.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be dry, mostly sunny to partly cloudy, and seasonably cool with highs in the mid 80s.

Thursday’s forecast is highly dependent on where future Hermine (right now Tropical Depression Nine) will be located. At this point in time, Nine/future Hermine looks to impact the southern and central Florida Peninsula, so we’ll keep our rain chances low at around 10% for now. This forecast could change though, so stay tuned for updates in the days ahead! Highs will remain cool in the low to mid 80s.
