DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — We’ve got another clear and warm night on tap with temperatures only dropping to the middle 70s.

Friday will be mainly dry, but there is a 20-30% chance for a few showers/storms. It’s possible that one of these could be on the strong side, but most of the will stay sub-severe. Temperatures will peak in the middle and upper 90s.

Saturday has a 60% chance for showers and storms. Before they become numerous across the Wiregrass, afternoon highs will peak in the middle 90s. Once the storms start popping, the temperatures will start dropping due to the rain-cooled air coming out of the storms.

Sunday has a lower chance for rain (around 20-30%). Temperatures will start in the low to middle 70s and peak in the low to middle 90s.

Monday will be very similar to Sunday with a low-end rain chance and temperatures in the middle 90s.

Tuesday brings another front into the Southeast, so our rain chances will increase a little bit. Temperatures will still peak in the middle 90s before the rain moves in.

Wednesday and Thursday both have a 50/50 shot at rain as temps peak in the low to middle 90s.
