DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Today will be significantly warmer than yesterday, but it still won’t quite feel like spring as highs still stay below average in the mid 60s. Don’t let this deter you from getting outside though, as we’ll see mainly sunny skies prevail all day!
Wednesday will start off milder in the upper 40s and end up in the mid to possibly upper 70s underneath sunshine and a few clouds.
Thursday will similarly be mostly sunny and even warmer as we make it into the low 80s from the mid 50s.
Friday will be our warmest day this week as highs soar into the mid 80s. We’ll stay dry and partly to mostly sunny during the day with our next system not moving in until the overnight hours. We will, however, start to feel some effects ahead of this system as winds pick up considerably.
Rain and a few storms will push in with our front overnight Friday into Saturday morning. With the front weakening as it moves in, storms should stay below severe limits. Most of the wet weather should exit our area by mid-morning, which is great news for those looking to head out to the Spring Fling in Enterprise or Peanut Proud Festival in Blakely! Highs will be in the low 80s and lows will be in the mid 60s.
Sunday and Monday will both have low-end rain chances in the 20-30% range as another system moves through the region. Expect to be mild both days with morning lows in the mid 50s to low 60s and afternoon highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.
