DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Today will be about 10 degrees warmer than yesterday as highs finally make it back to the mid and upper 70s. Mainly sunny skies will prevail.
Thursday will begin slightly milder in the 50s and end up even warmer than today as the majority of the region gets up to the low 80s underneath sunshine and a few high clouds.
Friday will be similar as we again ascend to the low 80s. Clouds will increase a bit as moisture streams back in ahead of our next front.
Speaking of this next front, rain and a few storms will be likely with its progression through the Wiregrass early Saturday morning. A couple could be strong to severe. Rain and storms should be on the way out for most folks by the time the Spring Festival and Peanut Proud Festival are both kicking off but bring rain gear just in case you’re planning on going early in the day! The rest of the day will be dry. Afternoon highs will be in the low 80s and morning lows will be in the mid 60s.
Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday will all have rain chances in the 30-40% range as another system moves through the region. Expect to be mild all three days with morning lows in the mid 50s to low 60s and afternoon highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.
