DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Tonight will be quite cold with lows dropping into the 30s across the entire Wiregrass. Counties to our north have a real chance of dropping to or even below freezing the next couple nights.

Tuesday starts off cold and stays cold all day long with highs likely staying below 60 degrees. We will have lots of sunshine, but a light jacket will be a necessity for our cold-natured folks especially.

Wednesday starts off cold in the middle 30s and climbs to the low and middle 60s with mainly sunny skies.

Thursday will also be chilly at the start of the day with temps dropping below 40 degrees again, but afternoon highs will be in the low 70s.

Friday breaks the trend of cold morning start with folks beginning the day in the low 50s and ending up in the middle 70s. Showers and storms will roll in during the afternoon hours. Some could be strong to potentially severe.

Saturday might start with a lingering shower and will be in the seasonable upper 40s. Highs will once again only climb to the low 60s.

Sunday and Monday both start in the 30s and only climb to around 60 degrees with mainly sunny skies.
