DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — We are still very warm this evening, and temperatures will be very slow to drop into the 70s tonight.
Friday will start off in the middle and upper 70s. Just like the past few days, we can expect mostly to partly sunny skies and temperatures in the 90s as we enter the early afternoon hours. Unlike the past few days, showers and storms will start to fire up during the afternoon and evening hours. Not everyone will get rain, but our 40% chance is better than nothing!
Saturday has a 60% chance for rain. Most of it will likely be during the late afternoon and evening hours. Temperatures should still peak in the low 90s before the rain starts.
Sunday will likely be a washout all around. Scattered showers and storms will be present in the Tri-State region throughout the day. Temperatures will be held to the upper 80s.
Monday still has a 60% chance for showers and storms with temperatures peaking around 90 degrees.
Tuesday-Thursday will all be a couple degrees below our seasonal average with partly sunny skies and a 40% chance for rain each day.
