DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Tonight will be in the middle 70s again with clear skies.

Tuesday climbs to the upper 90s for most folks with mainly clear skies. Heat advisories are in play for portions of the Florida Panhandle and much of Alabama for feels-like temperatures around 105 degrees.

Wednesday will probably be our hottest day of the week with many folks topping out at or above 100 degrees. The high temperature record in Dothan of 101 degrees set back in the hot August of 2014 could be tied or even broken. An isolated shower won’t be ruled out in the Florida Panhandle, but the rest of us should stay dry.

Thursday turns down the thermostat just a bit with highs likely staying below 100 degrees with an isolated shower or two possible.

Friday will keep things hot with highs in the middle and upper 90s. Rain chances increase to 20%.

This weekend keeps us above average with morning lows in the middle 70s and afternoon highs in the middle to upper 90s. Rain chances rise to 30% both days.

Monday takes our rain chances to 40% and drops our high temperatures to the low or middle 90s.
