DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A few more showers will be possible this evening, but we’ll all start drying out around 10 tonight. Temperatures will drop into the upper 60s after midnight.
Wednesday has a 20% chance for showers with highs in the low 90s area-wide.
Thursday also has a 20% for rain with partly sunny skies. Temperatures will still peak in the low 90s.
Friday brings us another 30% chance for showers. Morning temps will be around 70 degrees while afternoon highs peak in the low 90s. A front should be passing through the Southeast late in the day, but it likely won’t cause a huge change in our weather pattern.
Saturday and Sunday have an isolated and 30% chance for rain respectively. Both days will start off at 70 degrees and end up in the low 90s.
Monday has yet another chance for some showers and storms. We’ll give it a 40% chance for now with highs still peaking in the upper 80s.
Tuesday yet again has a low-end chance for rain. It will still be seasonably warm with morning lows in the low 70s and afternoon highs in the low 90s.
The Eastern Pacific’s Hurricane Agatha made landfall in Mexico yesterday as a category 2 with winds of 105 mph. The remnants of Agatha will likely become a new storm in either the Gulf or the Caribbean. It’s impacts will be confined to Cuba and the Florida Peninsula in the near-term.
