DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — We’ll keep a chance for a few more showers in the forecast through about 10 o’clock as some light rain moves into Coffee County from Pike County. Once those showers move out or dissipate, we should be dry for the rest of the night. Mostly cloudy skies will prevail from 10 o’clock onwards. Lows tonight will be right around average in the low 70s.

Tomorrow will be much drier than today with a mix of sun and clouds and only a 20% chance for an afternoon shower. Highs will be seasonably warm in the low 90s.

Rain chances will go up a little bit on Monday to 30%. Temperatures will be slightly warmer than the day before as most locations climb into the mid 90s for highs.

The rest of the work week will feature multiple rounds of unsettled weather as a cold front makes its way in from the north and interacts with moisture-rich southerly flow from the Gulf. This setup will favor 60-70% chances for afternoon/evening showers and storms from Tuesday all the way through Friday. We’ll keep highs near normal in the low 90s Tuesday and Wednesday before we drop down into the upper 80s for Thursday and Friday. Lows will remain in the 70s.

Scattered showers and storms will remain in the forecast for Saturday, but rain chances will be slightly lower than the previous four days at around 50%. We’ll start to warm back up a bit to kick off next weekend, with a return to around 90 degrees for highs expected after we again start the morning in the low 70s.
