DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — We’ll cool off to near seasonable norms tonight now that clear skies have returned to the region.
Tuesday will be warmer than Monday with morning lows in the middle and upper 40s and afternoon highs right around 70 degrees with mostly sunny skies.
Wednesday is an even warmer day with lows in the 50s and highs topping out in the middle 70s.
Thursday and Friday will both be in the middle and potentially upper 70s with partly sunny skies. We just can’t seem to shake the unseasonably warm temperatures this December!
Saturday will likely be our first chance for rain over the next 7 days. We have a 40% chance in the forecast right now, but that will likely increase as we draw closer to the weekend. The rain probably won’t impact those morning and afternoon temperatures too much. Expect Saturday to start off around 60 degrees and end up in the middle 70s.
Sunday could see a few showers here or there, but it looks like a mostly cloudy and primarily dry day right now. Afternoon temperatures will be close to 70s degrees.
Monday is when a cold front might pass through the region bringing with it more rain and cooler air.
