WDHN Storm Team: Lots of warmth before we cool down

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Tonight will be seasonably cool with lows in the middle 40s and clear skies.

Wednesday will be a warm one as temperatures easily climb into the middle 70s with loads of sunshine.

Thursday will be exceptionally warm with upper 70s expected and 80s not out of the question. A cold front will move through later in the day, but we aren’t expecting any rain.

We should be cooler on Friday. Temperatures will drop a good bit with highs only expected to peak in the middle and possibly the upper 60s.

Saturday will both start off in the middle 40s and peak in the middle 60s with mostly sunny skies.

Sunday should be a seasonably warm day with highs topping out right around 70 degrees. Clouds will be increasing throughout the day as a front approaches the region.

Monday will likely be mostly cloudy and has a 20-30% chance for showers as a cold front moves across the SE U.S. Depending on the timing of the front, we could see temperatures in the low 70s again before plummeting down into the low 40s later in the night.

Tuesday will be a bit of a cool day with highs only expected to be around 60 degrees despite plenty of sunshine.
