DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Tonight will have increasing clouds and temperatures in the low 50s. Overnight lows will be in the 50s or 60s from here until the end of the forecast period.
Thursday will be a touch warmer than today as we move into the middle and upper 70s. We’ll start to see an increase in cloud cover ahead of the next cold front. An isolated shower is possible throughout the day.
Friday will be mostly cloudy with a 20% chance for showers and a few storms. Temperatures will hold in the low and middle 70s. The heaviest showers should stay far north of the Wiregrass. Any accumulation in our area will likely be less than a tenth of an inch.
Saturday will be extremely warm with highs in the upper 70s. An isolated shower is possible. I expect whatever rain we get to be fairly short-lived.
Sunday will be nearly sweltering for this time of year as temperatures likely top out in the low 80s. A few showers are possible, but it shouldn’t be a washout.
Monday will also be warm, and showers will be a little more likely at 30%. Temperatures should remain in the 70s as light to moderate showers move across the Tri-State.
Tuesday has a 30% chance of showers. Because of the rain and clouds, expect high temperatures to be knocked back into the 60s.
Wednesday will have yet another low chance for showers, and temperatures will be in the upper 60s and low 70s.
