DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Another round of storms today as temperatures made it to the mid-90s. We won’t cool off much tonight as many Wiregrass cities will stay in the mid-70s.
Tomorrow will be a repeat of today with temperatures in the low and mid-90s and storms popping up around noon. Some of these storms will be strong and could produce small hail and 60 mph wind gusts. Some lingering showers and storms may make for a wet evening as well.
Thursday will be another wet day, but at least we can knock off a few degrees from the afternoon high temps. Expect to be right around 90 or 91 degrees just before the rain starts.
Friday has the best chance to see a little less widespread rain, but chances will increase to 60% once again as we head into the festivities on the Fourth of July this Saturday. They will stay at or above 50% into next week while our temperatures will be a little lower with upper 80s and low 90s throughout the Tri-State.
