DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A few more light showers will be possible this evening and tonight as mostly cloudy skies help keep our temperatures in the middle and upper 50s.
We’ll have a warm and potentially rainy start Wednesday morning. Scattered showers will be around off-and-on throughout the day. Temperatures will be in the middle 60s.
Thursday will most likely be a dry day. An isolated shower or two is still a possibility, but it doesn’t look like much more than that. Temperatures will start off around 50 degrees with some SE Alabama residents dropping into the 40s. Afternoon highs will be in the low 70s.
Friday has a chance for a few showers here or there, but it’s the temperatures that will be the bigger story. Expect morning lows to be in the low or even middle 60s and afternoon highs to be close to 80 degrees!
Saturday will start off extremely warm as temperatures only drop into the upper 60s. We’ll have a surge of warm air leading to temperatures once again being in the upper 70s ahead of the cold front that’s expected to pass through later in the day. This front will bring many of us showers and even the possibility of some strong storms. We’ll be watching this system very closely.
Sunday is a totally different weather story. Skies will be clearing as we go throughout the day, and temperatures will be much cooler. Expect morning lows in the middle 40s and afternoon highs in the low 60s.
Monday and Tuesday will both be sunny with afternoon temperatures warming back to the middle 60s on Monday and a possible run at the 70 degree mark on Tuesday. Mornings will be spent in the 40s.
