DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — More moderate to heavy rain is expected this evening and early tonight, but things will quiet down after midnight. Expect to wake up to cool but dry conditions as temperatures drop remain in the middle 40s tonight and tomorrow morning. Ponding on roadways and minor flooding of the typical, low-lying areas are possible, but widespread flash-flooding is unlikely.
Wednesday should start off dry for everyone, but temperatures will struggle to rebound from the cold air that moved in today. Mostly cloudy skies in the morning will become more sunny later in the afternoon.
Thursday will be very sunny with highs making it back to a more seasonable 67 degrees.
Friday will continue the dry conditions during the day, but it looks like the overnight hours will introduce some low to moderate rain chances.
We’ll give Saturday a 30% chance for rain right now, but that will likely change over the coming days. Temperatures will be kept a little lower because of the rain, but low 60s definitely aren’t unseasonable.
Sunday should be mostly sunny and a little on the cool side for this time of year. Morning lows will be in the low 40s and highs will be in the low 60s.
Monday will also start in the 40s, and highs should warm up into the upper 60s and low 70s. Sunny skies will prevail!
Tuesday will be mostly sunny, and highs should be close to 70 degrees.
