DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — We’ve gotten a nice break in the rain this evening, but we’ll likely see more showers and a few storms tonight and especially early tomorrow morning.
An updated Flash Flood Watch is in effect until 7 PM CDT Wednesday for Coffee, Dale, Henry, Geneva, and Houston counties.
Tuesday will only peak in the upper 70s as dense cloud cover and showers linger throughout the day. The 80% chance for rain doesn’t mean heavy rain for the entire day, but on-and-off light to moderate rain will be likely for Tri-State residents.
Wednesday will be back in the low 80s, and the wet weather will be back as well. We’ll keep the 80% chance for rain in the forecast with moderate rainfall expected.
We’ll finally start to dry out on Thursday with only a 40% chance for showers. We’ll warm up to a more seasonable temperature in the middle 80s with partly cloudy skies.
Friday looks mainly dry, but we’ll keep a 20% chance for showers in the forecast. Temerpatures will still be in the middle 80s.
The weekend and start of the next work week look dry with seasonable temperatures both in the morning and the afternoon with middle 60s and middle 80s respectively.
