WDHN Storm Team: Soaked today, but drier this weekend!

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A few light showers will sit over the Wiregrass for the next couple of hours, but we’ll dry out after midnight.

Friday should be drier than we were today, but we’ll keep that rain chance at 40%. Highs will peak in the low 90s.

Saturday should be fairly dry, but rain will still be a possibility. We’ll keep rain chances at 30% for now, but it could go up if strong storms create outflow boundaries that spark off other storms. Temperatures will be close to average for this time of year.

Sunday has a slightly higher rain chance at 40% with temperatures in the low 90s again.

Monday has a 60% chance for rain, and temps will be similar to most of the days preceding it.

Tuesday and Wednesday have rain chance up to 70%. Because of the widespread showers, those high temperatures will very likely stay in the 80s.

Thursday has a 50/50 shot at rain with temperatures still in the upper 80s.
