WDHN Storm Team: Strong storms tonight and tomorrow, then clear and cool this weekend!

Weather

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — You’ve got a few more hours to take down any loose, unsteady, or inflatable Halloween decorations to prevent them from being blown away tonight. Storms will roll in around midnight. Some of them will be on the strong side with damaging winds and an isolated tornado possible.

Thursday will start off with strong storms that once again could produce damaging winds and an isolated tornado. After the line moves through in the morning, scattered showers will be possible throughout the day. Temperatures should make it to the middle 70s.

Friday morning will start off in the low or middle 50s with windy conditions. Our temperatures will only move into the low or middle 60s to end the work week, so you’ll probably want to keep a light jacket or hoodie around for much of the day.

Saturday will start off in the low 50s and continue the breezy conditions from Friday. Highs once again will only move into the middle 60s. Evening temperatures will quickly drop back to the 50s after sunset, so keep that in mind if you have any outdoor Halloween activities.

Sunday morning keeps things cool with lows in the low 50s. We’ll see a return of the 70s with lots of sunshine during the afternoon. Yet again, evening temperatures will quickly drop back to the 50s after sunset, so keep that in mind if you have any outdoor Halloween activities.

Monday and Tuesday will both have morning lows around 50 degrees and afternoon highs in the low to middle 70s and sunny skies.

Wednesday will be similar to the previous 2 days with lows in the 50s and highs in the middle 70s.
