DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A couple more light showers will be possible tonight. Lows will remain in the low 70s.
Wednesday has our highest chance for rain this week at 70% as an area of low pressure moves out of the Gulf and across the Tri-State. Moderate rainfall rates will be possible, but we should be able to avoid even localized minor flooding. Ponding on roadways is likely if we get a couple of storms to move in. The dense cloud cover and increased rain chances will keep most places in the low to middle 80s.
Thursday has a 30% chance for rain as the area of low pressure moves east. A front is expected to pass through the Tri-State later in the day, so highs will be in the middle 80s.
Friday and Saturday will both start in the middle 60s and move into the upper 80s. Mostly sunny skies with an isolated shower possible on Saturday will make for a couple of nice days!
Sunday still has that low-end chance for rain and will be a touch warmer than the previous two days.
Monday could still have an isolated shower or two, but our afternoon temperatures will still be around 90 degrees.
Tuesday will also be mostly sunny with lows around 70 and highs peaking at 90 degrees.
