WDHN Storm Team: Warm and dry weather continues

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — We saw another beautiful day area-wide to close out the first weekend of fall! Overnight, we can expect mostly clear skies once again, with low temperatures bottoming out around 60 for most spots.

We can expect another day of gorgeous weather across the board for Monday, with plenty of sunshine along with a few fair weather clouds for much of the day. Afternoon highs will continue their march upward, with the majority of us topping out in the mid to upper 80s. Dewpoints will stay relatively comfortable in the low 60s, so it will be another great day to do any outdoor activities!

We’ll start out Tuesday morning a little warmer in the low to mid 60s. After that, another beautiful day across the board can be expected with lots of sunshine and a few clouds. Highs will be a bit warmer in the upper 80s, with dewpoints increasing a bit more as well into the mid 60s for much of the day.

We can wash, rinse, and repeat that same exact forecast for Wednesday, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 80s.

This pattern of fair weather will stick around for Thursday and Friday as well. Thursday will likely be our warmest day overall, with highs near 90. Friday afternoon will be pretty similar, but the majority of us should top out in the upper 80s at most.

As we go into the weekend, a very weak cold front with little to no moisture may move through the region. This means that our high temperatures will likely cool down back to the mid 80s for both Saturday and Sunday, with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies expected to continue area-wide.
