ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — Moving further east in Coffee County, this was the scene in Downtown Enterprise when heavy precipitation over 30 minutes caused minor flash-flooding along Main Street and Park Avenue.
Fortunately, the traveling public heeded authorities’ advice to avoid flood-prone areas of the city.
Then a short period of strong wind gusts did not appear to cause much property damage except for
a few downed trees.
Enterprise Mayor William Cooper tells WDHN the city dodged a bullet and its life is back to normal once the street water recedes.
